How it works

What comes through
- Article title, headings and body paragraphs in the original order
- Bold, italic, links, lists, quotes and code blocks
- Images embedded at their original position, or delivered in a folder
- Author, handle, publication time, source URL and export time
Limits worth knowing
- Only public content. Private, deleted or paywalled posts cannot be retrieved.
- Threads are collected upward from the link you paste; paste the last post, or several links, for the full chain.
- Media that the source no longer serves is reported as missing instead of being invented.
- Videos are noted as links — this exporter produces documents, not media files.
Questions
Do I need an X account?
No. Only public posts and articles are read, and you never log in here.
Is the Word file editable text?
Yes. Real headings, paragraphs and hyperlinks — not a screenshot of the page.
Are the images inside the file?
Yes, unless you turn that option off. They are embedded, not linked to a short-lived address.
Why is my thread incomplete?
X only exposes the chain the link belongs to. Paste the last post of the thread, or add the remaining links one per line.
Is the article rewritten or summarised?
Never. The export is a faithful copy of the source, including its wording.
